Your finder answers and line-up selections are kept in the page address, for example ?p=bay,koi on the line-up page. That is how a result can be shared by copying the URL. Answers and selections are not written to cookies or storage, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind except your browser's normal history.

The only third-party request the site makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces. Loading the fonts sends your IP address and browser details to Google. The font requests are made without cookies being set by our pages, but your browser may send cookies it already holds for Google domains, which Google handles under its own policies.

There are no analytics, advertising or social media scripts. Links to vendor sites open those sites, which have their own cookie policies.

Consent banners are needed for cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary. The site uses none: its only storage entry is strictly necessary for navigation, so there is nothing to ask you to accept.

All major browsers let you see, block and delete cookies and site data in their privacy settings, and private or incognito windows discard them when closed. You can also block font downloads with a browser extension; the site will then fall back to your system fonts. Questions go through the contact form.
