Privacy Policy

Short answer
Endpoint AI Finder at endpointaifinder.com ("we"). This policy describes what the site actually does with personal data. It is short because the site collects little: there are no accounts, no payments, no comments and no analytics.
What we collect
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. If you choose the topic Copyright notice, we also receive the extra details that form asks for: the work concerned, the address of the material on this site, your confirmations and your electronic signature.
Technical data logged by our hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the provider that serves the site records technical data automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
Browser storage. The site sets no cookies and uses no localStorage. It keeps one sessionStorage entry, tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3, which remembers your scroll position on pages you have visited so the back button returns you to the same place. It holds page addresses and scroll positions only, never leaves your browser, and is cleared when you close the tab. See the Cookie Policy.
Finder answers and line-up selections. Your answers to the AI control finder and the products you pick on the line-up page are kept only in the page address (the query string) in your own browser. The results are computed in your browser and are not sent to us.
Google Fonts. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When the fonts load, your IP address and browser details reach Google, which handles them under its own privacy policy.
We do not use analytics, advertising tools or tracking pixels.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, we rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the site and to read and answer the messages you send. Where the law requires consent for something, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised by the law that applies to you. We are based in Israel, which has an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as we need to handle them, including any follow-up, and then delete them. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period that it sets.
Your rights
EU and UK. You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a portable copy, object to processing based on legitimate interests, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
California. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you can ask to know what personal information we hold, to delete it and to correct it. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share it. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Israel. You have the rights given by the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, including the right to review information held about you and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
To use any of these rights, send us a message through the contact form with the topic Privacy request. We may ask for information to confirm the request comes from you.
Children
The site is written for security teams and IT leaders and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date at the top. For questions, use the contact form.
